Giovedì scorso abbiamo avuto la cerimonia di chiusura del primo semestre in collaborazione con l’Università Ebraica di Gerusalemme. Condividiamo alcune foto delle nostre tante visite, in varie parti della Terra Santa. Abbiamo scelto di rimane per non lasciare che la violenza o la guerra abbia l’ultima parola, ma di rimanere come segno profetico che la pace sia possibile in questa terra, con la preghiera — nelle parole del profeta Isaia:

“Spezzeranno le loro spade e ne faranno aratri,
delle loro lance faranno falci;
una nazione non alzerà più la spada
contro un’altra nazione,
non impareranno più l’arte della guerra.” (Isaia 2,4)

Last Thursday, 18 January, we had a concluding ceremony for our first semester programme held in conjunction with The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. We share with you some photos of our many visits during this semester, in various parts of the Holy Land. We chose to stay not to let violence or war have the last word, but to remain as a stubborn sign of hope that peace can be built on this land, with a prayer that — in the words of the Prophet Isaiah

“they shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war any more.” (Isaiah 2,4)
